★ The inspection

Your barn's electrical check-up

What I check, what you get, and what it costs.

Heat-camera scan

Panels, breakers, motor controls and ventilation controls. A loose or rusted connection runs hot long before it fails. The camera shows it while there's still time to fix it on your schedule — not in the middle of the night.

Power readings

I check that your motors aren't overworked or getting uneven power — that's what burns them out early. The numbers go in your report so next time we can see what changed.

Hands-on look

Rust from manure gas and moisture, water getting into boxes, and mice and rats chewing wires. Barns are hard on electrical — I look for the damage.

Stray voltage test — dairies

A small electric charge on stalls, waterers or milking equipment makes cows nervous, slows milking and cuts your milk check — and you can't see it. I test for it on every dairy. If your herd's been off and nobody can figure out why, start here.
